John Bravado is an NPC that is encountered at random areas at random times. He will ask the player if they know any place for him to pick up some "foxy mommas", and then complains that another NPC named Carl was of no help to him. The player can point him in any direction, and John Bravado will leave to go find a date. If the player is female, John Bravado will try to ask them out. If they accept, they can get John Bravado as a companion. They also have the option to slap him and tell him to go away. John Bravado will fight back if attacked, punching the player with heavy knockback. If the player kills John Bravado, they can take his sunglasses, which boots charisma.

Origins[]

John Bravado is an Idiotronian, from the planet Ignoramus V in the Nimrod System. Like other members of his species, John Bravado is vain and dimwitted, yet strong and handsome. Ignoramus V was the site of several interstellar slave trade organizations, as Idiotronians made easily controllable servants fit for physical tasks. While Bravado himself wasn't subjected to this, he was among Idiotronians and other alien species transported off-world when the sector's society collapsed in the wake of a space war, and was relocated to Earth as part of a UN-sanctioned interplanetary refugee program, as Ignoramus V was left in ruins after the conflict. On Earth, Bravado, not knowing the significance of anything that happened to him, his species, his planet, or his sector, assumed that he was awarded an all-expenses paid vacation to the "ultimate blind date" planet, and immediately began trying to woo any females he came across on Earth, staying away from other Idiotronians to avoid competition. He came across a Nerdian named Carl, another refugee from the same sector, who became his unofficial best friend.

Description[]

Physically, John Bravado is a tall adult human-like male with a very muscular frame, the result of his Idiotronian physiology. Internally, as opposed to humans, he has three hearts, larger lungs, and a somewhat smaller brain. He wears a black shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and black sunglasses. His hair is combed upwards and is blond. He is sometimes described as handsome, or at least above average.
