Seers are a non-playable race of Extramultiversal Entities that appear very rarely throughout the game. The most prominent one in the lore is The Viewer. The very few Seers that are found in-game, like the Intellectuals, are meant to give lore and help with quests/item hunting. The ones that are encountered are passive, but will attack the player if provoked.
Seers have a humanoid body shape, with two arms, two legs, and a torso. However, unlike Humans, their heads are clouds of smoke, with two red eyes in the cloud. Their minds are completely incomprehensible to any being within the Multiverse, and are thus immune to mind-based attacks. Seers possess more strength than an Intellectual, and have a range of supernatural abilities. Their main ability is their ability to see all possible futures and current events of the cosmos, of which The Viewer was the most proficient in, as he was reportedly able to change the fate of others on certain occasions.
The Seers were one of the Extramultiversal races in existence, alongside the Intellectuals. The first Seer was The Viewer. The Seers became the rulers of the Unknown, and used the Intellectuals as advisors. When The Viewer proposed an invasion of the Multiverse, the other Seers ruled in his favor. Any who objected, mostly Intellectuals, were hunted down to be executed by The Viewer's Cloakwraith soldiers. Most Seers remained in the Unknown, although a few who objected fled to the 3rd Dimension.
Like all other Extramultiversal societies, not much is known about the society of the Seers, other than that they ruled over the other Extramultiversals. The Seers are known to get rather violent, although they prefer to send out henchmen to do their work for them. The Seers believe themselves to be greater than The Time Keeper, as they can see time itself before it unfolds.
