The Skybuilder appears as a quest giver, asking the player to help him find pieces to build a new sky. Attacking The Skybuilder will cause him to fade away and disappear. His quest is a very simple, low level quest. He wanders fields, and if the player is far enough in the game, he wanders the cyberformed plain, but still tends to stay around uncyberformed land. When the player helps him find the sky pieces, appearing as giant puzzle pieces, he will build a custom skybox over a single ground based home that the player has, which is purely cosmetic. He also gives the player the Ring of Fractured Skies, which allows players to hit incorporeal enemies, such as ghosts or air elementals, without using spells or other devices. After completing his quest, The Skybuilder will leave, and is not seen again. However, the custom skybox can be personalized. After completing his quest, certain enemies and bosses will drop unique Sky Pieces, which can be used to make themed skyboxes.

Origins[]

The Skybuilder is a Lesser Celestial Entity, presumed to be some sort of deity. He is almost as old as the Physical Planes itself. Some presume him to be an entity that is subordinate to Nature, and that he is in charge of creating and maintaining skies, atmospheres, and similar things across the universe for her. However, he is not a Demi-concept.

Description[]

The Skybuilder appears to be an adult human male, wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes, and a black undershirt. He appears rather young, has a short beard, and brown hair.

Quotes[]

"Sky's a little dull, isn't it? Same old, same old, day after day. Don't you want to look up and see a new sky built just for you? If you do, I got a deal for you."

-The Skybuilder's opening lines

Trivia[]

  • Some of the Sky Pieces can be bought off of vendors.
